at home i have a 1280*960 17" monitor, but at work i have a full-fledged 1920*1200 24" one. Funny, since its a lot easier to navigate and use the former.

I also have a 32" 1080P monitor which i also use at work for watching tv and occasionally gaming. Again, everything is actually much easier on my 17"......lol....I need vision correctment....

Iagree, probably because when you're trying to move the cursor on the desktop from one side of the screen to the other, you have to have a toilet break at the 1/3rd, 5/8ths and 9/10th intervals... and that's to drop something in the recycle bin... My friend has his on maximum resolution and all the darn icons are microscopic, like two or three pixels across, good luck trying to read a Word Document with size twelve font, you'd need a telescope just to find the toolbar.
