look like chocolate angels to me also.

all of them look great. be ready to move four out once a pair forms. 40 gallons is not enough for a pair and other "single" angels.

my fish lady will take 2 back once they pair off as that's how i set it up with her ,
the chocolate are in the 55g the 4 marbles are in the 40g

so next question is how do you know or can tell when they pair off is there signs to look for

You will know, they get really nasty to other fish when they pair up and you are in for it.
You should provide enough hiding space for other fish in the tank.
Keep an eye out.

If it helps you any to figure the sex out (altho the only full proof method is to let them pair off), once the angels are grown, the spaces between the bottom fin will be longer in a female than in a male..
