Just looked in my tank to see about 5 little fish swimmin' around.

How do i tell what they are?

I just moved some fish out of the tank into another but before there were 1 z daino 1 platty, 3 ir sharks, and this fish that looks like a rainbow trout( I forgot what it was. Maybe a large Daino.

They are small but I saw them eat some flake food.

I am thinking they maybe sharks but I just read on another site that a very hard to breed.

They seem to be hanging out near the bottom leading me to believe they are the sharks???

Anything special I should be doing??

I also had 2 molly's in there about 2 weeks ago but they both died on the same day.

What do I do??

I don't know your post is kind of confusing, but why did your mollies die? Are you cycling? Anyways as long as your water levels (ph, nitrite, ect.) are level and they are eating and no one is eating them they will probably grow enough for you to find out. Good luck!

The tank is cycled only have a test for ammonia but it is at 0

Sorry about the confusion I was kinda excited.

The only fish taht have been in the tank are
1 giant Daino
1 z daino
3 ir sharks
2 mollys
1 platty

They are probably the sharks then:-) Congratulations!!!! They could have been platys or mollies depending on how long ago you took them out though. Good luck again, I would love to see pics too, if you have some! :-)

I would be willing to bet they are the mollys or platys. Depending on how long you have had them, I think platys are one of the fish that can be pregnant for a while, so you may have even gotten it that way. Mollys and platys are forever pregnant and breeding!!

Hope you have a big tank, or plans for one :D !!! ID sharks get large, think in feet, not inches!!!!

Here is a pic. of a really big ID shark

Ill say that your platy was a female bouight a week or 2 ago and was pregnant when you bought it

I'd put money on the platys or mollys. They're often pregnant from the dealer, and the young are large enough to survive on pieces of adult food. Currently I have guppies and mollys in seperate tanks with young that receive no additional care.
