Also what do you guys recommend for shrimp? Is a cleaner the way to go what about a sexy shrimp anything else out there worth a look?

Arrow crabs r considered reef safe, but might grab other smaller inverts or small slow fish when they get big(and they can get to like 5-6"), and u can't go wrong with cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp, or camel shrimp. I would say that your blasto is a merletti, but i'm not sure from that pic. Do you have a closer shot of them? How big r the polyps across?
yes I think they are merletti do they color up any more then they are now. They seem to be a dull red color. I was watching them and I see in the middle that there mouths move in and out.
Anyone have sexy shrimp how are they as far as taking care of. I read they do better in groups of 3 but what would you put in a 12 gallon aquapod.
I don't think they really require care lol I have 2 floating around in my 75 gallon. 1 stays out in the front always in either a zoa or my long tentacled plate anemone. The other stays hidden in the back side of a rock where I can't really see it. cute tiny little things. they really are tiny. it's hard to overstock with sexy shrimp unless you get like, 20 or something.
