What kind of catfish can i put in a 10 gallon tank?

Yea but they take soooo long to grow. Obviously you would have to upgrade. Ive had mine 6 months and he grew a half inch.
Mine are in a planted and havnt uprooted anything.

you could probably get away with some debauwi catfish for awhile. They get five inches, but they are cute while they are small.

I would say a group of 4 otos, they will not hurt the plants and you get a group of them and they are fun to watch.

If you had a 10 gallon planted tank, what kind of catfish and or bottom feeder fish would YOU put in the tank?

Pictus get 9" long and uproot stuff dood, what were you smokin' before you posted?

You could also do C. perugiae, a neat little catfish that internally fertilizes and the females lay viable eggs that they care for. Another one would be Ancistrus claro that gets just over 2" SL. Aspidoras are another neat, small, cory type cat that likes to be in shoals. Hara hara or Hara jordani are very neat tiny little cats that are really fun to watch for the few seconds them come out to swim around to eat ;). For pictures of any of these, you can find more catfish info than you could ever want at http://www.planetcatfish.com .

Barbie

Can you plzz tell me the FULL names of the C. perugiae and the SL. Aspidoras? I don't know what C. means and don't know what SL. means.
Thanks!

absolutely not, they must be kept in groups

they require very stable water conditions and free swimming space

this cannot be provided in a 10g with 6 glass catfish, they are not an option for a 10g
