What kind of fish do you use for algae control?

I had this problem. I now use an old credit card and three otos.
 
Algae scraper is the best kind. I have otos though, they are so cool to watch, and I plan on getting a few shrimp as well.

Otos, Bristle Nosers and SAEs would be the best, shrimp and snails also help, but they need to be fed other foods. my otos will only eat algae it seems, they stay away from cucumber.
 
I don't use any fishes to clean off the algae in my tank. I just use an algae scrubber when there's algae on the glass.
 
I have otos because I think they're cool, but also use a scraper.
 
Amano Shrimp and BN pleco. But I bought them because I liked how they look. The shrimp love inspecting every single plant and eating off the algae.

For algae on the glass, I just use a new sponge that won't scratch the glass.

Anyone like those magnetic algae scrapers?
 
shrimp! There so much fun to watch anyways.
