What kind of fish is this?

i import mine from kentucky.... save a lot on shipping and they bred here
 
I can't say that most fish I've seen IDed as "GBR" are any differently coloured to the bog standard Microgeophagus ramirezi.
 
Yeah it's a blue ram, or GBR if you prefer. Looks like a male from the pic. They like warm water, 80 degrees plus.
Bushwacker, do you have a link to that Kentucky breeder?

That's because "GBR" floats around as the name for all blue rams. Most people can't tell the difference between a "German" blue ram and a wild or Asian bred ram. I certainly cannot.
 
Hmmmm, thats tight i like that kinda fish... Not Just cause its a cichid but cause it looks kool but i like most cichids anyway .. but there is a few i dont really like....... oh and are angle-fish a kind of new-world cichild ?? i am not sure about that one eahter..... my mom just got a tank of them angle fish.... idk lol
