What kind of plant is this

I just bought this plant from my lfs and i forgot what it was called. I wanted to look it up online, but its kinda hard without the name. I do realize that im not good at taking pictures.

It's hard to tell without a nice, in-focus look at the leaf structure. Frmo here it could be a val, broadleaf sag and some others. What was the root structure like?

Could it be something called mondo grass?

Yes mondo grass that sounds right thanks. Im going to google it, but does anyone know anything about mondo grass

It doesn't grow real tall so it is best planted in the front half of your tank. Requires a medium amount of light. And goldfish will eat it.

ok so i look on the forum and apperently its not an aquatic plant...... i should kill those petsmart people.

Type in your search bar aquarium mondo grass... it will lead you to various sites. It is an aquatic plant. I have some too.

It has a scientific name but thats too deep for me. Maybe it is listed on the forum under that.

Are you sure its an aquatic plant. The first thing i found when searching here is that its not an aquatic plant and that petsmart just tries to sell them because they look good. They all say that it will die in like a month. Maybe your right though.

Maybe I'm wrong. But there are lots of sites that come up if you type aquarium mondo grass in your search bar. Maybe I was suckered to by my LFS. Wouldn't be the first time.
