What kinda tetra is this?

The guy at the LFS said it was a serpet(sp) tetra.

Searched it up and it looks nothing like this.

It kinda looks like that but the black dot is on the tail area, and the fins are really long...orange/red body with pink fins...fish is about 1inch big

i will take a pic of it later tonight.

yeah the pic i posted is a serpae tetra, but my tetra looks nothing like it. Longer fins..almost like guppy fins

This fish in your picture look like rosy barbs:

They're Cyprinids.

Yup, most definitely long-fin rosy barbs.

yep there long-fin rosy barbs alight. I think i have 2 males and 2 females. And got them 3$ each =].
