what LIVE FOOD should I feed my Angelfish?

Fish always beg. I have killies that will beg whenever they see me.

Another option would a marmokreb. Self cloning cray fish, they produce loads of young (just need one!) and the little ones are great for food. Same for cherry shrimp--set up a colony in a tank, and then feed from it. Self sustaining, cheap to keep going, no worries of pest or disease. I know, shocking, considering how pricey cherry shrimp used to be, but for less than $50, you could set up a colony to feed from for years. 10 gallon tank, minimal substrate, sponge filter, java moss, 3-4 shrimp. Add water and wait.

Sounds like a recipe for dinner :)

I honestly don't know if the marmorkrebs are used as food anyplace. They'd need much more than a 10--cannibalistic little buggers. But we started with a trio and have had more than 60 make to sellable size--and if we were using them as a food source, could harvest 3-4 per week without much effort. Fresh hatched they're about 1/4 long, get to an inch within 2-3 weeks.

IMO, live food is a bit risky. I feed frozen, FD and flake.
I keep P.Scalare and P.Altum

I picked up 3 shrimp and got a half dead one for free. Put the dying on in the 37 and it is now gone. The others are going in my 3g for awhile with my betta.
The rams were more interested in the shrimp then the angel was. I could get a few female mollies since I already have a male in my ten or 2 female platies. I find the platies very cute and they are tiny. Think I'm better off feeding them fry instead of the shrimp.

Assuming no pathogens due to a lack of quarantine, why would it be risky?

sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

the problem is just that..QT may have nothing to do with it.some live foods can play intermediate host to parasites or in fact carry parasites or infection into the tank. Other live food may simply harbor the parasite and unless you do prophylactic treatment and QT the possible live food you can infect a healthy tank.
even then you can not be 100% sure you have removed the parasite, let alone any bacterial possibilities.

IMO, much too risky to try on some my angels and Discus when good dry food is available.
