I was mowing my grass and spotted this built under the outside of my window air conditioner. Anyone know what type of nest it is and more importantly what lives in it?

Looks like a hornets/wasps nest to me! If it is watch out doesn't take much for them to swarm!
I'd stay as far away from that sucker as I could and watch it for a while see what is coming and going from there.
If its hornets I'd get some of that long- shot bee and wasp killer and nuke the little buggers but thats just my opinion.

unless you need to go and mess with that area alot i would leave them alone they havent messed with you yet.
Yet being the operative word. I knocked it down and it was completely empty. Still not for sure that it is a paper wasp because of the shape.
