I recently saw those loaches in a market. I wonder if anyone knows what they are? I believe there are two species in there.
I first thought some to be Sinobotia robusta , the other the pulchra.

But to be the pulchra the coulours are too faint, the stripes too far apart, and then there is this long snout, with the eyes more looking up than beeing on the side.
I saw them at 3 dealers, also colourfull ones (like mine) at some other dealers.
Any ideas?

I added pics of both from the tank, just for comparison.

Sinibotia pulchra, or is it longiventralis?

You have Sinibotia pulchra and Sinibotia robusta. Those with large mouths and very dark colors are Sinibotia pulchra. Sinibotia robusta have small mouths. You'll need to separate the Sinibotia robusta as they eventually get more aggressive as they mature. Best to keep the S. robusta with other aggressive loaches such as the Syncrossus and Yasuhikotakia morleti.

Nice looking fish.

S. robusta are sometimes called 18 bar or 12 bar loach, pulchra royal or king something. But like Lupin said do not go by common names, no telling what you might get.
