What made you choose your screen name?

personally, I am a restaurant owner/chef and my name is james scott so rather than hunt for a name I thought why not just say who and what i am

I use to ride a Yamaha Roadstar..
My roadie will always have a special place for me.
It was my first big Cruiser... i went from 650 to 1600 cc's(98 CI)
my current ride is a Harely Davidson Roadking.(FLHRSI)

When I was in highschool, my best friend, Miriah, was killed in a car accident. I was way devastated. I still think about her and what her life could have been if not for that tragedy.

I came up with my sn through a combination of Miriah's name and a "K" from my first name, and tossed in a little creative spelling. So the actual pronunciation is Ker-I-ah. This was 15 years or more ago, and I have been using the same name since. Recently, a year or so ago, I found the name Kyryah on a baby names website, saying it was a greek name meaning "town." Now, when I researched this name all those years ago, I never found a DANG thing that claimed it was a real name. So who knows. I do know if you Google "Kyryah" you come up with at least 13 pages of all ME, lol. So no matter what I am still the #1 Kyryah!

The funny thing is that after 15 years it really comes as natural to me as my own name. One of the members here has taken to calling me Krys, which I actually really like, as it is the short form of my first name (Kristina, like you all did not know, lol) with the "y" from my screen name.

Kristina

Gosh Kyryah you make me feel bad for writing my fake name story. Sorry to hear about the loss even if it was a long time ago- a great way to honour a close friend.

I use to own a sushi restaurant & all my friends/customers thru the restaurant called me sushiray & it has stuck till this day. I still do sushi chef catering for events/celebrations.
