I guess my source of ire at astrology is that every use of it that has been thrown at me or that I have come across does little to encourage a healthy relationship with the people I am around. Some of the people that have tried to use it on me also were cons and didn't care about people in general to put it lightly for the sake of conversation.
It may be a good method of profileing people that ends up with pretty good depiction of how a person is, but the other behaviors and attitudes that came with astrology put a bitter taste in my mouth over it.
