OKay, so I'm looking at my little male pineapple swordtail, and I notice this crimson red spot right behind his right pectoral fin. On closer observation, I see that there is this piece of what looks like a 1/4" of fish "poo" hanging from the middle of the spot. As he is swimming around, this foreign object sort of falls off, kinda like...well, poop. About 2 hours later, there it is again, just dangling there. But this time, it's about 3/4".
Worms? Fish innards busting out of a weak spot on his side? Indigestion? An alien growth?
