At the moment i have a 15 gal at room temp with a few white cloud and few neons a couple of peppered corys and a couple of upside down catfish, i would like a centre peice fish but was not sure what, i would poss be like to get a few male guppies aswell i would like an angel but have heard these are hard to looka fter i have kept paradise guormi and didn't get on well what else would you suggest.

There really isnt much you could add to the tank. A 10 gallon is only so big. How many is a "few" white clouds and neons. If there isnt to many of them then you could add a couple more of each. What is the room temp? The white clouds would do fine at room room temp but the others would do better in heated water.

I have to agree that your tank sounds pretty full already, but since we all like to add more fish, I'll take the chance at getty flamed by everyone else and suggest a single male dwarf gourami. Most lfs that sell dwarf gouramis have the blue-with-red-lines variety and they're beautiful in their own right, but I prefer the "powder blue" variety that is a stunning shade of blue (sort of "electric blue" if that helps) without the red line (or very obscure red lines).
The other suggestion (one I am taking myself) is get a bigger tank. Isn't that always the answer?;)

Unfortunatly a bigger tank isn't an option at the moment, i have kept a few guormis before and i didn't get on with them, my tank is at a 22-24 degrees celsuis, there is 8 minnows 4 neons 3 corys and 3 upside down catfish, i just wanted one more just as a centerpiece fish, i must say though i have kept a few more fish in there i know it was probably breaking a few rules but they were heathy and the water paras where ok. I would like a betta but i don't think he will go with the flow of my filter, i like mollies and drwaf puffers and the small variety of the chilchilds one more question are guppies fin nippers thanks

You could try a betta. He just wouldn't be building any bubble nests. I have one in my 55g community with an AC300 and XP3 filter. Of all the fish that like to swim into the current of the filter, he is one that does it the most. Maybe he's just trying to get out?:)
I don't believe guppies are fin nippers. Mollies like a little salt, but I think they do o.k. w/o it?

Male guppies will chase anything that has pretty flowing fins if a female is present. Male guppies and male bettas don't mix.

Mollies are NOT easy fish. They need very hard water to do well.

While I agree your tank is pretty well stocked, if you want a centerpiece fish, a single krib might be okay. There are several dwarf cichlids which would be okay--as a solitary fish. Look into apistos--and don't get a pair. Just one! Otherwise, you'll have babies and territory issues galore.
