ok my tank has been set up for two months i actually stopped cycling at 3 weeks but waited the six. all i have in my 55 gal. is a yellow tang, coral banded shrimp, and a anemone. everything is doing great. not a problem at all the people who clean and take care of our tank said it couldn't be better. so what next ? i dont care what i just have a itch that needs to be scratched. so thanks in advance.

i can appreciate living saltwater aquaria, but you should make a decision yourself, the whole i dont really care idea, doesnt work for me. Look around and find something you like, then post here asking if that fish would go good in your tank. do some research.

I think you are on the wrong forum. Most of us on here are here because we love the hobby itself. I think you like your tank as some like a nice piece of furniture. Nothing wrong with that, but by saying "I don't care I just have an itch that needs to be scratched." That is pretty offensive to those of us that admire our tank, because we actually, (believe it or not) like to mantain our own tanks. It hard work that is very awarding. That's why we got into this hobby. Key word hobby..lol.
If you want to scratch your own itch look at pictures on the web, find a look you want and tell the people that are mantaining your tank.

o.k i'm sorry i didn't mean it the way it sounded. I really enjoy this hobby as well. i was wondering what some of your favorite fish in your tank is. and as far as the people maintaining my tank it was all a b-day present. i have been wantis a salt-water tank forever and my dad keep saying wait until your birthday. so he got me the tank and everything plus a company to come over and show me how to do it for like 4 months so i wouldn't mess everything up. didn't mean to offend everyone. . i would say thanks for your help but yeah i got a starfish and another form of tang

My favorite fish is all of them...yes I am a nut.
Have you seen Hawk fish? They are not expensive and have a whole lot of caractor. Gobys too.
I really think Powder Blue Tangs are really pretty, but they need a bigger tank than a 55.
You should add a bunch of peperment shrimp. They are cool and they will breed to help feed your other fishies.
Have you looked on the web and found anything you like?
