I have a German shepherd, 5 cats, a donkey, and a pony. Currently looking for a nice horse as an eventing prospect.

Really jealous of everyone with birds! I've been dreaming my entire life of owning a parrot, but my family thinks they're too noisy.

And they are right, larger birds are like having two year old children who bite and never grow up.

I had 3 Saint Bernards, my youngest just passed after being diagnosed with Leonberger's Polyneuropathy. It has been 2 weeks and we are still completely devastated. Saturday, we are bringing in a rescued Saint Bernard from Arkansas.

I know how it is. The day after Christmas we had to put down our G.Shepherd that we had for 11 yrs. Our Bernese was beside herself. Every time we came home she would go out and check the car for "Heidi". By late Jan. we found a cute Belgian shepherd pup. Now "Kate" wishes we would leave the pup somewhere.
