What plant is this?

petluvr, the leaves in your pic point away from the end of the stem....in the OP's pic the leaves are pointing twards the end of the stem.

Looks kinda like:
Equisetum arvense

I'm sure it's not though.

Um, common horsetail? Not an aquarium plant.

I know, but it kinda looks like it :thm: lol..

I took a closer look, nvm haha... Looks like Hornwort.
Goes great in the toilet.

ok well that bunch didnt fair out to well. I guess people have these problems when they first drop them into the tank. So i went to petsmart and got a bunch for 2.50$. I left the stainless clamp on and just tied it to some slate on the bottom. Reason why I cant have it floating is 1 light is 6 ft away on the other side of the tank T815watt and above this plant is 2 housings with each a 10,000k (1yr old) T8 15watts. So 30 watts with about 22" of water on top of it from the bottom. Now unless it will be ok floating with the lights so far apart then I can give that a try I guess.

So giving the specs would this thrive? I want to end up with a massive amount of this stuff! Tank is 76-77 degrees also. Any length of time for light, 12hrs?
