i have a 10 gallon tank that gets 1.7wpg and i use it as a grow out. i currently have some anachris and driftwood in it for my abn fry but the anachris is dying and im trying to figure out what kind of plants would work in it? i also plan on using the tank to raise some shrimp if they will work with the abn fry.
thanks

I would think the anacharis will be fine in that tank. I have some in my tank I just restarted and it's growing like crazy. I have alittle more light than you 1.96 wpg in 110 tall. Try hornwort that grow's good too.

Second the vote for hornwort. Riccia is another floater that should do well, being close to what light there is; plus it is easy to net and attach to more driftwood. If you can find a cheap source for small swords (Amazon etc.) they will quickly grow too large for your tank, at which point they can be sold/traded for something you want more of.

Oh, and also moss balls. Velvety and gorgeous, and also shrimp fry love them for hiding in. Any one you get bigger than, say, a golf ball you can tear in half and have two, which will reshape themselves back into ball shape in a few weeks. More profit. :)

i would also think anacharis should be fine. perhaps you have nutrient problems you should address first. personally, i think anubias plants are wonderful in those kind of tanks

I agree with Anubias for the tank. I thought of Crypts too, but I'm not sure if the ABN will damage leaves on them.

really? crap I've got those in with my RCS right now and the leaves are developing holes for some reason.
