well everyone has advised me bichirs do nothing but eat. So im going to add 25 or so feeder minnows from petsmart and see how long they last.... if more then a few come out alive within a week or two then ill say its a go.

Without Co2 will 2.75WPG be enough for amazon swords,brazillian sword, wisteria ,hornywort, jungle vals, and wisteria....... the tank is about 18"s deep?
Also for lighting im gunna use 4 under cabinet 24" lights...... will this work? or should i do like 5? i have a silver iron stand an i am gunna biuld a wood canopy to hide all my lights and filters for my 30g.... what color should i paint it, and will it look completely dumb with a wood canopy and iron stand? i cant afford both lol
Hey everyone, Im biulding a Wood canopy want to put 4 of the UnderCabinet 24" Plant lights from walmart, will this enough for basic plants and not have to use Co2?
well i already have some really nice crypt and Wisteria that ide like to keep. With 2.75WPG on a tank that is 18" deep will most simple low light plants like Swords, jungle vals, crypt and wisteria grow? plus i use Flourish tab fertilizer....
I have a school of black neons, serpae and red eyed tetras in a heavily planted tank. no problems. Also SAE's are a schooling fish and they take care of any algae problems you'll have.
OK thanks for the help with the Schooling fish, think ive decided to go with silver dollars and just move the plants. What about my lighting issue....^^^^
