what should I get??!?!

Ok, but whats the name of the type of snail that wont reproduce on its own? I don't want a bunch of baby snails everywhere....

I would feel bad with just one khuli....fish always look so lonely when they're by themselves. I'd even feel bad for the betta...lol

Look for a Brig snail aka Mystery snail (Pomacea bridgesii). They come in a bunch of colors and even if they do reproduce, lay eggs above the waterline in clutches that can be removed. Msjinkzd has some beautiful colors and is great about answering snail related questions. Check out http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1338719#post1338719.

I do too, but have come to realize after researching that some fish actually like to be solitary unless breeding.

By the way... It's a great thing that you're concerned enough about the fish to ask questions and listen to advice. :)

well thank you for the nice reply :)

I'm beginning to lean toward a single male betta in the hex tank...hopfully he wont look lonely with a bunch of pretty shrimp and a snail....lol

If anyone else had their two cents to put in, I'd be glad to hear it :)

thanks everyone!! I have a much better idea now of what I want to do with my tanks. :) *hugs to all*

We (I) want pics when they're done.... :)
