I have a friend who lives in South Texas and they go river fishing a lot. He saw my newer tank and liked the Dempsey I have. So I took him around showing him lots of other fish online. He saw some Texas' and said they get those in their minnow traps alot when collecting live bait. He always thought they were perch. So he is interested now, and I told him I would check on how big of a tank he would need. So long story short, how big of a tank for a dempsey and a Texas??

75 gal minimum...if they get along.

Ideally 100 gallons or more, but you could probably get by with a 75 gallons.
