My first tank was a 20 gallon, stainless steel trimmed tank with a slate bottom. And I do not have it still. I wish I still did, tanks like this, rock.
I have a
75 gallon plexi
2 glass 55 gal
29 gal
15 gal
2 10 gal
5 gal
2 2.5 gal
empty:
15 gal
20 gal
10 gal
2 5 gal
most of my small tanks are used for breeding tanks for my hets.
When I was younger I started off with a 2.5 gallon, then when I started up again i got a 5, then 55 (broke)
Now I have a 90 with 33g sump tank, a 50 with a 10g sump, a few 10s, a couple 5s and my betta homes.
My first tank was the 29g combo kit from WalMart back in 2000. I got into it after my Golden Retriever passed away at 14 and I moved away from home. Amazingly I still have two Blackskirt Tetras still alive from the first batch of fish I ever put in that tank... And I did everything wrong up until a couple months ago.
Now I have...
55g - to be setup in August w/pressurized CO2 and tons of plants.
29g - The original still in play, better than ever.
20g - Misc. tetras
10g - QT
Mine was a 1g fish bowl w/a goldfish, rock, & small plastic plant til it broke when I was cleaning it out. Then got 2.5g from Petco and I don't have to tell you what happened to the goldfish in that little tank (not cycled and fed the fish to much)
Now I still have the 2.5g
2.5g
Male Betta
2 dwarf spotted cories
20g
Two dwarf neon blue gourami's
3 Gold platies (the little one was adopted from Petco & only has one eye)
5 Pristella tetras
1 Cardinal tetra (had 5 but now down to one, they just disappeared)
bought my very first tank around new years day, 55 gal. 3 weeks ago, bought a 125 gal tank. i am using both of them now, keep some non-aggressive frontosas and some small fries in 55 gal, and put other more aggressive cichlids in 125 gal.
