What tetra would work best with my stock.

Ok well my tank dimessions are 30x12x18.
I really might switch over to 4 ottos rather then a BN.

That is probably a better decision

it makes me sad that noone ever thinks of glolites! they're basically neons or cardinals, but orange and gold instead of red and blue. they're often cheaper as well, and in my experience are hardier.

I currently have a tank with 3 GBR's, 10 glow light tetras and 2 hatchetfish. Everyone is doing very well. I have one male GBR and two females.

what size tank?hatchets need to be in a group of at least 6.

Hatchets get "security syndrome" sometimes if not in groups. They get iffy on eating and jump.

Neons are a very weak fish. They can't take much in the way of stress and personally I don't think they look all that great either. Rummynoses are the way to go
