Ok. I have a small one inch long clear looking critter in my tank. I think it slipped in in a plant. It appears to have 6 legs and a long tail that forks at the end. Is this a shrimp of some kind? It looks kind of like a dragonfly with no wings. I'm trying to get a pic now.

Ok. I have attached a pic now. It actually looks like it may have small wing like structures on it's back. I swear it looks like an aquatic dragonfly.

That looks like a damselfly nymph to me. You might want to take it out of the tank if you've got small fish - it's predatory.

I believe you ae exactly right. I posted another link above that really looks like it. Good catch. Now to go try and find the critter again. I always wanted a natural tank but this is rediculous! LOL
