im currently wanting to add a fish or two to my tank. something that looks nice but not aggressive. Just something that adds spunk and life to my tank.

i currently have a 35 gallon tank housing:
2 dragon violet golbys
2 female gold gouramis
2 paradise gouramis(one is smaller than a platy)
1dwarf flame gourami, male
4 platys
1 white corey

What type of cory is it? I would suggest more of those, they get way more entertaining in groups.

im not sure what kind of corey it is, honestly just one from the walmart tanks. I always feel like im doing such a good deed when i take a fish out of their tanks. which is why i ended up coming home with another paradise gourami today. hes just a lil guy but so very colorful

I think you could add more cory...but i also think you are going to have issues with that gourami mix.

more corys for sure...honestly though they do not HAVE to be the same species, though it is preferable

and I too am worried about the gourami mix...doubling up trichogaster trichpterus is nevy really a good idea and paradise fish usually don't even like being with each other...

and the dragon gobies do seem like a poor fit for your tank as Lupin mentioned

I would start with adding some more cories. They will hang together even if they are not the same. Panda and pygmy cories are always really entertaining.
