What to feed Discus?

I don't feed mine beef heart..they don't like it.

also you can look to formula foods marine. formula 2 is what I feed from time to time.
formula1 can get messy.

i know some feed prime reef
these are available frozen or flake.
mine eat both.

Thanks guys. The idea is to give them high protein and a variety right? I think I will try the different bits and flake that I have as well as my night crawlers for now. I am ordering some Hikari blood worms from Drs Foster Smith as well. They should be here tomorrow or the next day. I have to order more food from Kens this week and I know he has NLS as well as HBH. There is a beefheart flake that he has that I think I will try instead of doing raw meat. I also have some frozen popcorn shrimp in the freezer that I am suppose to make for dinner on Friday. They won't notice there isn't quite as much as usual.

They can be fussy eaters.One thing my Discus all like is HBH 8 veggie flake,it`s about 20% of thier diet.

First I would try to get them to eat some kind of Discus pellets.They can do good on those alone.

Earthworms I chop then clean with a strainer and chop again.Thinking of putting the chopped ones in a frezzer to see if I can get them smaller,but would feed them within a day or two.
