So Cal
okay, i've been reading up on RCS threads, and many different foods have been mentioned...i know they'll eat pretty much everything / anything, but i thought i'd ask you long-time shrimp keepers what you have found to be a successful diet to grow happy and healthy shrimps who will reproduce successfully...

so far, i've just been feeding them flake food (well, i feed the guppies, and some settle on the gravel for the shrimps) and parts of algae wafers. anything else i should add?

brand and label names (and any other details) are greatly appreciated :)

hbh (think that is it) crab and lobster bites are supposed to be good, but i haven't used them to be honest. I usually feed a mix of algae wafer, hikari bottom feeding pellets (seems to help with color..but i have no real proof), and fresh veggies (intended more for my snails, but the shrimpies eat them too).

hmm...what kinda fresh veggies? cucumber slices? peas (without the shells)?

they actually seem to prefer green beans. i also feed cukes, zucchini, carrots (they ignore these for the most part), and occasionally peas.
