Ok so I have a spare 50ish gallon tank sitting around that I was going to be using as a saltwater tank but thats not gonna happen. So my question is what should I get to put in there now? I have a 125 gallon mbuna tank so I want something different. I was toying around with the idea of discus but I would rather have a larger tank for that. Also thought about angels but not sure on them either. I'm also not interested in just a tropical community tank either. I know I know that doesn't leave much to choose from. Attached are pictures of the tank to give an idea of what space I have.
Thanks for any input.

sounds nice, not sure about heavily planted, I haven't played with the idea of planted tanks yet. Thanks for the suggestion.

That's a great foot print for a planted tank. My 55 is too thin to really get a good fore/mid/background plant setup going. You have lots of depth there to play with.

the river sounds nice, I do have lots of powerheads that came with the tank. What are some other fish that would like the fast current?
