A co-worker of mine is moving in October & is offering to sell me his 210 gallon tank (72"x24"x29") at an outrageously discounted price. (it formerly housed 2 pacus, but they died. The tank is empty now.)

I already have a 125gal set-up w/ African cichlids.

If I accept his offer, I need some ideas/suggestions on what to stock it with. I do NOT want to venture into salt or brackish water set-ups.

thanks

Fronts?

Frontosa would be cool. Never kept them before. How many juveniles would I put in a 210? I know as they grow Fronts get pretty territorial.

what else could I put in there with them? reading on-line it says "tankmates should be other fish of the same temperment", but doesn't give me any suggestions

Let me do some looking around. I know fronts only tanks are pretty cool.

A pair of stingrays (some of the smaller species), Datnoids, maybe some different types of knife fish. Go with some crazy oddball stuff:)

angels maybe. no cory cats though. one species i KNOW i want in this tank is Geophagus Jurupari.

I have Frontosa with Compressiceps and Calvus and Clown loaches.. Only thing is is they all like to be at the bottom of the tank.
