What to stock in a 10G?

I will probably end up with a few kuhli loaches or cories of some sort. I guess if I want exotic I have to get a bigger or a SW tank. Thanks!

Liveaquaria is out of stock :)

Where can I buy white cheeked gobies? My LFS has nothing of such rarity.

I will checked it out. I already have 6 neon tetras, how many honey gouramis can I keep?

They have white checked gobys at invertzfactory.com they are also known as rhinogobius wui. They require sand substrate and wouldn't work with neons because they need different temperatures.

you could keep a honey gourami with 6 neons without a problem. I currently have 1 with 3 male endlers and 2 African Dwarf frogs in my 10 gallon.

Endlers are also a great option, they are wicked colorful! (The males are colorful, the females aren't)

The gobies require colder temp? Maybe I can keep them in the fall/winter/spring, because in the summer, even with the AC on my tank's temperature is always 80+.

Would it be okay to keep two Bettas along with 6 tetras or is that too much? Will Bettas eat plants?

Don't keep two bettas together in the tank. You could do 1 nice male which would ne enough if you got a male (the larger tail fins). The betta wouldn't really eat your plants, and would make a wonderful colorful addition to your tank

I just bought four albino cory catfish. Maybe they're still trying to get accustomed to the tank, but they're swimming all over the place very fast. They probably scared all the neon tetras and made them hide in the corner. Are cories always like that? If so I think I'm better off keeping 12 neon tetras with nothing else...

corys don't scare neons, they might just be used to having a tank to them selves. What kind of corys did you get (hopefully dwarf?) There are a couple of different corys that can come in albino varietys if i'm not mistaken.

i have the same problem at my moms house, there can be no fish here for the summer. You could always try to find a cooler, but i'm not sure what prices are for those.

The bettas definitely won't work with the neons, thats too much bioload. As for future stock, a few shrimpys won't do too much to your bio-load.

I have Corydoras aeneus. My neon tetras never hide in the plants and are usually in front of the driftwood in the middle of the tank. But now that the cories are there, it seems like they've taken over.
