I had to debate on this for a minute. I have been watching the Simpsons since they first appeared on the Tracy Ullman Show...geeze that was a long time ago lol. But, since I have grown so have my tastes and I feel that Family Guy is more geared towards adults..which I am now, so I picked that one. I do still like The Simpsons and watch them every now and then, but if they were both on at the same time, I would watch Family Guy.
Don't worry, Jodi. I remember when they were on Tracy Ullman, too. I actually remember who Tracy Ullman is. Didn't the Simpsons look weird in the early years? The colors are all bright and the animation's shaky. And their voices were a little different than they are now.
i am kinda like jodimartin2003 on this. i picked the simpsons for the fact that it seems i have watched them all my life.
It is amazing how much better The Simpsons look now :sim: . I watched a show on the evolution of them once and it was very interesting. I loved the Tracy Ullman show. She is a riot. I wonder whatever happened to her?

She had a show on HBO or something for awhile, "Tracy Takes On" where she just did a lot of characters. Kinda like her other show. But it never caught on, I think.

While I prefer The Simpsons, I've really gotten into American Dad lately.

Ive been watching The Simpsons since it first premired as its own TV show in FOX I was a little young for Tracey Ullman (25 now) but I always loved the Simpsons. That said I picked family guy lol. The simpsons pushed the envelope in there day and did a good job at it but as more and more stuff is accepted they didnt evolve to keep pushing the envelope. Probably because they didnt want to loose there commercial sucsess. Family Guy does some crazy stuff that you dont see any where else on the networks. Like the time Brian got the Job as the drug sniffing dog at the air port and he became addicted to cocaine and in one scene he was even getting nose bleeds from all the coke. What other show is gonna go there? They are also awesome at makeing fun of other shows! Family Guy rocks
