im pretty sure that they are all born unfertile males, and cant breed.

yes, they are all born males..... the most dominant changes to female like stated before, but if the female is in a tank with a more dominant female, the less dominant female will again become a male. (confusing huh?). But yes, if you buy to young ones you will get a pair.... but this does not automatically mean spawning/breeding.

What are the ones that have a lot of white on them? They look like percs but with no real pattern. Or are they just misfits?
