What type of skimmer do you use?

just put my order in on a Tunze DOC 9010 that I'll be using in tank. 327$ more than I wanted to spend, but the only skimmer I could find HO wise that didn't have a frenzy of people destroying it feedback wise.

Remora HOB..i got it used for $50 but u can get them new for $150..pulls out great skimate..at first it was noisy and had alot of micro bubbles but after breaking it in it's great..I also did the paper towel MOD to quiet it down

To me you would just be wasting your money on that skimmer. I would try to find a good used HOB skimmer CSS, Aqua C Remora or Octopus or just save up some more money and get a new one.

Well since this got bumped I will give an update.

I would still stay away from the seaclones and my Coralife Super Skimmer has been flawless since it originally broke in. It is now in my sump.

I run a seaclone 100, did well on my 10 gal, I'm getting ready to switch to my euroreef ES5-3

On a 120g? I'd save my money up for something else. Your tank will do fine without one while you're saving up and the extra time will let you look for something used as well to help out the budget.
