I found out that the eclipse 2 hood was the water source. but the stand is still something I'll have to replace. I'm intending on doing diy for my still planned 75 gallon so another stand for a tank I already have will just be good practice.
the stand I have is designed for a 29 gallon tank so I wonder if it was designed to have the extra length of that tank cantelever the top into not bowing under the weight or at least not in a way that leaves part of the tank unsupported.
