Is that the only thing in your tank now? If so, ya, a cube a day is too much for a 3" anemone.. I put in 4 cubes a day in my 29G along with bottled food.. 3 cubes for the 12 fish I have and 1 cube for the anemone.
well ive got 2 seahorses in there with him. id rather just give him some seafood. thanks mandy. and thanks for letting me know hes not a filter feeder ace. seafood is cheaper than cubes.
Please reconsider keeping him with seahorses, they are not compatible in the long run and the horses could easily become easy meals.

dont worry. ive been keeping a close eye on him and he still hasnt come out. hes been sucked in for 2 days now. and as for the seahorses..... the anemone is only staying in there for about 2 more days because my tank is pretty much done cycling.

I'd consider finding the anemone another home. A newly cycled tank is no good for an anemone either. They need an established tank.
my cycled tank has 30 gallons of established water that was used for 4 months. the anemone had no problem then. i used all the water i had in my other tank for this tank. there is good bacteria in it.
actually, the amount of new water i put in my cycling 55 gal tank isnt much more than the water i have to replace during a water change
You state the amenome has had no problems, but the original point of the original post was that you were having problems with your nem. Something fishy here
