I currently have 6 tiger barbs, one 4-5in rainbow shark, and an albino bristlenose pleco in my 38 gallon tank. The rainbow tends to chase the barbs away from his den and will chase them away from his food, but aside from that, they are relatively peaceful with each other. I wanted to know what else to put in the tank. I want to have 9 tiger barbs in the end, so what can I put in with them? Preferably something to clean the substrate, as the ghost shrimp were just moderately expensive Tiger barb food.
What works well with my rainbow shark and TB's?

9 Tigers, a RT Shark, and the BN will be about all you can keep. The BN would keep the floor clean too.
