Here is a pic I just took of my tank. I labeled the plants that are in it now. I'm not particularly fond of the arrangement as is and think I could benefit from a few more plants. Maybe a different species or maybe just more of the same. Not sure. That is why I made this post. What would you do?
My tank is a 55g with sand substrate (may change) and 128 watts (6500K) - for now. In a few months, I plan to do away with the Co2 and drop it to 96w.
The black tape on the back of the tank was marking the top of the water sprite nearest it. It grew from it's original mark (white line) to where it is now (black line) in 2 days.
The narrow leaf sag was growing out of the top of the tank just last week. However, I cut it all down. It was covered in BBA and had to be trimmed out. It's grown several new blades about 2 inches long since then and will be out of the tank again soon I suspect.
Well, what would you add, if anything? (A piece of driftwood is planned. And fish!
