WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU FOUND $$$10,000 .....?!?!?!?!

similar thing happened to me...had about 3k in the wallet..found the guy and not even a thank you.

a thank you would have been nice.

Yeah, I was skin diving near a pier when I was 15. A guy on the pier yelled to me and my friends that he dropped his wallet. He said he would give us a reward if we found it. I was looking around and found it . It was packed with cash . I could have stuck it in my shorts and said we can't find it but I did the right thing . They lowered the net , he raised it up and walked away :eek::werd:

wow.. lotsa greedy people here lol

as I said.. I would at least TRY to find the owner-- I would hold onto it for a while... but in the end I would rather spend it than give it to the cops who wouldnt do the right thing anyway-- cops here are BAD

now there's an idea... nothing against cops or any other authorative figure, but don't blame me for doubting that they'll go out of their way to find the owner of the money. At least, nothing that we can't already do on our own.

amazing what you can find out about some of the most unsuspecting people.

I'm usually a very very honest person... but I've been asking the powers that be for a bailout for my money situation for so long I'd take it as a sign. If someone can carry AND loose $10,000 then they probably have more than that in banks somewhere. I'd hide it in my house, slowly use half to pay my most immediate debt and bank the rest slowly as not to seem suspicious.

i'll leave the first part of that quote there... even though it doesn't apply to my reply..

the post i quoted was in agreement with the person who posted it.. not a dig at them. i could have left the other part of the post in, sure, but it made no difference to what i was trying to say. ;)
