What would you recommend for better circulation?

I'm thinking of putting in a circulation pump to better circulate the water in my 55G planted tank. The one I have now still leaves some dead spots. Trying to get an idea of what you folks would recommend brand-wise and where would you place it in the tank. Right now with my canister, I have a spray bar on the right side on the back glass with the intake tube all the way to the left side. It seems I'm getting debris accumulation mostly on the R back corner and L front corner.

What filter do you have?


For dead spots the Hydor Koralia is always a good choice.

i would add another canister lol nothing like having a back up.

If it was my tank i would probably have two canisters on it.Shoot i had two canisters on my 29G

I would "zippy tie" 2 maxi-jet 600's to the center cross brace near the back, and point one towards each "dead zone. The maxi's move a lot of water (600 lph, 150 gph) and their output isn't "fire hose-ish".
