Has to be cheap and have enough juice for 1 55g 1 29g 2 10g and 1 5g and room for possible expansion

I like my Million Air (MA-200?), it is adjustable too, which helps with volume. I also wrapped it in filter floss and pinched it between the stand and wall to help reduce noise. My aquarium is right next to my bed, so it has to be reasonable in volume. Now the air bubbles add more noise than the unit itself, but can't win them all.

Opps, mine is just for a 20 gallon, so maybe a MA-600 and MA-400 if the tanks are all close. I seen a few good posts about how good they were for how cheap, so check them out.

although they may be a lil more pricey, the Whisper air pumps are great and practically noise free. they come in various sizes and there is even one big one with a dual output for two airlines.

for some reference, i ran a Whisper 40 air pump with a three line 'splicer' to power three small sponge filters in three seperate 10 gallon tanks. more than enough flow.
