What's a good fish?

Ive got 2 cherry barbs
and although they are extremly freindly
do lots of benificial things for the tank
like eating hair algae and stuff they like
to swim together and chase each others
tails in a circular motion. It makes some
of the smaller fish in the tank a bit unez
because of there high activity rate I would
only recommend 2 of them.. I also have 3
gold barbs and they are a little less aggressive
I went with the gold barbs cuz i wanted something
that looked golden like goldfish but wouldnt get
large there a good fish very well mannerd and only
get like 3-4 inches

I'd recommend platys - they're friendly with each other and their owner (they're little piggies, always dancing for food when I come in the room, and they nibble on my hand while I prune plants or change the water).
I also really like my cherry barbs, they're very sweet but they do tend to go crazy and chase each other at top speed every once in a while (doesn't seem to bother the other fish, but I imagine that a gourami/betta wouldn't be too impressed).
Lastly, neons - cute as little buttons and wouldn't hurt a fly. Well, okay, if it was a small fly they'd probably eat it, but you know what I mean ;)

you know what? i just added 2 pearl gourami to my tank last week and they are awesome fish. they had a stigma of being shy, but not mine. no no, they'll come right up to me and they loooooove being fed. sheesh. but seriously, they are beautiful fish and very calm and peaceful. my recommendation.
