I am looking to add something that looks kinda like grass./ i have 2.08 watts per gallon so that probably limits me. anyone have some suggestions? i dont really like dwarf sag, hoping for something that stays smaller. would Echinodorus tenellus work under that light?

There are certain types of Dwarf Hairgrass that can grow in that type of light. I got some growing in my 2 WPG tank.

dwarf sag, hair grass, or microsword are good choices.

Dwarf hairgrass would be good, and you can always trim it to the length you want it. There is a type of low growing crypt, not sure the name of it..its not really grass but is good ground cover for the front, maybe someone else knows the name of it.

sweet, thanks for ideas. i like the hairgrass, but i think i like the Echinodorus tenellus v. 'Tenellus', the pygmy chain sword. i really like the way they look. do i have enough like for that though, the site i saw it on lists it as medium-high light? also, whats are some good oniline web sites to but plants? i am having trouble finding ones with a good selection.
