not finished btw.

Assuming that the bottom of the pond is sloping from the 18.5 in. depth (right) towards the 24 in. depth (middle), and further sloping towards the 34 in. depth (left) and also assuming that the pond has a rectangular shape:

W = 4.5 ft. = 54.0 in.
L = 9.0 ft. = 108 in.
D1 = Average of 18.5 in. and 24.0 in. = 21.25 in.
D2 = Average of 24.0 in. and 34.0 in. = 29.0 in.

V1 = D1 × L × W / 2
V1 = 61,965 in³

V2 = D2 × L × W / 2
V2 = 84,564 in³

V(total) = V1 + V2 = 146,529 in³

The volume would be 147,000 in³ or 634 US Gallons, based on the assumptions made (3 sig figs).

But since it looks like it has curved sides, it can be assumed that it will be less than 630 US Gallons. Depending on the curvature of the pond at the ends, there would be some variation on the decrease the volume of the pond. Based on the assumption, it would provide a somewhat good approximation of the pond's volume.

More information on the pond would provide a much more accurate calculation towards the maximum capacity of the pond. Although, that would difficult to retrieve, since the pond it filled with water.

Hopefully, this is correct :)

thankyou i appreciate that alot
