Hi all we have a 142 gallon FOWLR up for 6months. The tank has a few mushrooms, 2 cleaner shrimp, snails, hermits, 1 small yellow tang, flame angel, royal gramma,2 clarkiis's, and 2 yellow tail damsels, what would be a good fish to add? How many more fish could we add all togther? Thanks for your input.

There are lots of interesting fish- do you plan of keeping it FOWLR?
You have 'shrooms and inverts in there- so I'm confused on whether you are asking about true "fish only with live rock" fish or are you going reef with more corals and inverts?

Many FOWLR fish will eat your softies and inverts.

Cerb- I have 2 FOWLR tanks that have mushrooms and inverts (crabs and snails in one, and crabs, snails, and shrimp in the other) yet I still consider them FOWLR. Their set up sounds like FOWLR to me and definitely not a reef. But that might be just me. I would look to adding a small wrasse of some sort. Some of the bigger guys will eat your Shrimp, but I found the female Mexican Rainbow Wrasses (Thalassoma sp) work great. They never harmed any of my inverts or corals. And what about a school of gobies like the Dartfish (Bar Gobies, Scissortails, etc). That is about all I can think of for now. I would add maybe 3 more fish max assuming they are kinda small. Hope this helps.
