What's the best fertilizer?

Double that and we'll talk

Welll... now I don't know what I'm gonna do! I probably won't be able to get to an LFS until next week... I guess I could go tomorrow but I just got back from one today (my mom probably wouldn't want to go anyway and she has to drive). I don't have anymore light to work with, do you think the plants will live till then?

do u have 1 bulb or 2???? is it a floressent???i think u will be fine,i have a 15watt floressent in my 10 and i have had amazon swords growing well.......not 3 in. a week but well enough for me!!!!!

1 bulb. I'm pretty positive it's flourescent. Both plants seem healthy so far. I'm just going to check for some higher wattage bulbs next week ;)

Or you could always go to lowes or home depot and buy a shop light. Then Remove the bulbs and add the proper wattage and kelvin rating. Thats what I did and now I have 36 watts over my 10 :D

And I know how it is, the mother limitation. **** it only 1 more year!

Your fixture will not support a higher wattage bulb.
The plants will be OK for a while but you will need better lighting to keep them going long term.
Luckydud's idea is your cheapest solution.

It's now come down to the issue of price. I'd get the 1x 55w set, but it's more than I'm willing to spend on lights. :/

Or you could turn the strip light to handle two 27 watt Daylight fluorescent bulbs. But not the kind of fuorescent that is a strip, I'm talking about the spiral kind that fit into a regular light socket. It would probably cost you $15 including the light bulbs.
