Definitely the asian arowana.
My personal favorite variant is the green asian, it seems to be the most natural and "untinkered" with.
All the other fancy colors, IMO, are nice, but are just too inbred and unnatural for me.

Heres a pic of my green asian arowana, apporxiametly 1' long.

Nice solid fish but hard to make out the colour. A side on pic would be good. ;) But I love the golden and red varieties, but green is good too, so is the red tail golden. But the most spectacular is the pearl scale blue, but very hard to get.

electric blue dempseys are the best for color. bettas got the same color but is so much beter on a larger fish. africans have pretty striking colors too

for fun and ease of keeping and breeding kribs are the best.
for elegance the are angels and discus

for a shoal of fish cardinals are good looking

for big poopers the are plecos

for just plain fun inverts are cool( ex snails, shrimp, crabs)

its really imposible to pick out a single fish. each fish has its own beauty and ''style''

sort like asking who is the hottest babe on the planet.way too many of them
