I voted for bettas, but I honestly wish they weren't so beautiful. Maybe they wouldn't be so abused then.

I would also vote for all rainbow fish, especially boesemani. Love dem guys!

well said. very much under-rated. The only more beautiful fish imo is betta macrostoma... an extremly elusive fish.

Jack Dempseys are beautiful and Bettas are gorgeous fish, but I gotta go with my red tailed black shark. Pitch black body and a bright red tail.... Very pretty and fun to watch. Nasty personality though.

loaches ,rainbow trout ,catfish carcinaes or however you spell fancy minnows.sunfish don't look like much from a dock or a boat but in a tank they are very colorful & full of energy,like a fancy jack dempsy
