What's the site for THE FISH PLACE in N. Tonowanda,NY??

Wouldn't know any Bifaros', Polizzis', or Wallaces' form out there would you (he)? Could list more names but they aren't as well known to me.

Nope--but I am not that familiar with his extended family. I know Kenyons, Brols, and Goodes...And I know his mother's side of the family is very extensive--I don't know half their names. I'll ask him--he probably does. He grew up there, and went to school there--ah, another name--Salamanca!

Kind of amusing--the trip in March was the first time I'd met his extended family, and his mother was determined for me to meet the entire family. She kept snagging me and saying "There's just one more person you HAVE to meet!" It was fun, but too many people, too quickly for me to retain many names.

No, none of those names ring a bell. I know what you mean about too many ppl too quickly. Took 2 yrs. for me to learn my wifes immediate family (2 sisters, 2 brothers, 12 neices/nephews!). Of course, with a track record like the above, you might think 1 person was too many for me:D

Back on topic, I think you were right about them not having a website. Someone mentioned getting plants through aquabid from one of the owners. I think I'll call them tonight anyway.

OK all. I will try to help out those of you who are interested the "THE Fish Place" 141 Robinson St. North Tonawanda, NY 14120. 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, NY or the Buffalo, NY airport.
I am very good friends with the owner (Pete Mang) who goes under the name 'Lotsoffish' on AquaBid. They DO NOT have a 'fish for sale' website at http://www34.brinkster.com/fishplace/petermang.html and it is not much at all. It was made by a college student in Chicago and does not even list address or phone number (716-693-4411). They are retail fish related only business with over 400 display tanks plus they do have a 4 truck fleet that delivers to stores within the area from Syracuse to the east and Youngstown, OH west, into southern Ontario Canada and south to the Bradford, PA area. They do not have a fish list with prices that they send out other than their weekly list to their delivery customers. NO mail at this time. It is a 1000 tank separate wholesale division. For more information you can e-mail me or I do have some info on my site on the "Links" page but no link to them.

whats all this talk going on behind my back???? I am Pete Mang owner of the fish place. We have a couple web sites in the making right now but will never have a fish list with prices. We have 1500 tanks up and get new fish daily,we also sell tons of them. Having an ACURATE fish list with currant prices would take at least two people 40 hours + every week. On the other hand we do ship fish, and we do it right. No box charge, packing charge or any of that stuff. We also PREFER to ship priority mail and have a 100% live arrival guarantee. I will not give out my e mail address here because I do not need a million nut cases e mailing me with all kinds of questions but you can get a hold of me by going to aquabid.com finding one of my auctions and contacting me through it. If you want to find one of my auctions go to hot auctions because every auction I run goes hot!!!!!! Also if you have never bought fish through the mail and feel nervous doing so check out our feedback that our customers have givin us at this site.

Also if anyone wants to talk live on the web with me I am in the aquabid chat room almost every night between 11:00 and 11:30 est lots of good hobbyists show up there every night. This room is also not moderated so anything goes so some nights are a little wilder than others but we have an ignore option that works real nice!

A million nut cases? Hey, I'm only one! Actually Pete, I was not interested in fish at all, but plants. And yes, I have seen your hot auctions and can say that they do go fast! I'll just get in line at aquabid and try to be quicker on the keyboard than the next nutcase!;)

Thanks Zman for clarifying!

That LFS is the best I have ever been to. If you go, make sure you get the "VIP" tour and go downstairs to the wholesale area. Hey Pete, have any cool plecos in stock?:)
